              Hindu Vedic Astrology has its origin in the ageless Hindu Vedas!  The  Atharva Veda has 165 verses dealing with Astrology. Maharishi Parasher, Varamihira and other sages, after a careful study of these verses, formulated Astrological principles which have stood the test of time.
It is truly amazing that these founders of Hindu Astrology could correctly calculate the speed and distance of the planets which are thousands of miles away without modern day calculation and measuring gadgets!
